Wolferton scarecrow bi-annual event 2011, with raffle prizes, from Caithness Crystal, Knights Hill Hotel, Sandringham House & gardens, Thorntons Chocolates, as well as prizes from local shops. The event raises money for local good causes. The next event is to be held over 3 days 27th, 28th and 29th August 2011. For more information click here.

Art of Moorcroft event, Saturday 16th July between 11 - 2pm when we will be delighted to welcome Peter Harrison from Moorcroft. Peter, who joined Moorcroft in 1998, will be demonstrating the art of tube lining & painting. You may even get a chance to have a go yourself at painting a piece of Moorcroft. There will also be a prize draw for a Moorcroft Festive Vase worth £450.  Not to be missed!

Liz, Joe & Teresa from our Caithness Crystal Visitor Centre Shop will be running in the King's Lynn race for life on the 19th July. I hope you will join us in wishing them the very best of luck. If you wish to make a donation to this very worthwhile cause please click here.

11th January: Recieved letter from Break Charity, thanking Caithness Crystal King's Lynn Ltd for their kind donation of £68 made in support of their Christmas Hamper Appeal. Congratulations to Mr A. Homer of King's Lynn who won the Hamper.

Introduced ‘Screwball’ paperweight, made in the King’s Lynn Crystal Glass Studio exclusively available throughout 2011.

Presented Jake Humphries Ambassador to Break Charity with Formula One Charity Vase.  Engraved with F1 signatures including Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher, and Martin Brundle to name but a few... Hand made by master glassmaker Stephen “Beaver” Bone and hand engraved by Philip Tuddenham in the King’s Lynn Crystal Glass Studio at the Caithness Crystal Visitor Centre.

November 2010
6th November: Sponsored Holly Atter, our restaurant supervisor. Holly qualified 12th out of 25 over 10 races to enter the women’s Gold Roof Final in November 2010. After a good start, going from 12th on the grid to 5th a car spun in front of Holly and knocked her out of the race, with severe damage to the steering. This year we have, exclusive to Caithness Crystal Visitor Centre, The Red Mount – another local historical building still standing in the walks in King’s Lynn.

Local Artist, Mr Michael Herring, has very kindly loaned us his original painting ‘Penny Bunns’. This painting has been copied to one of the many jigsaw puzzles we have in store now.
